This Read Me file contains instructions on how to create a floppy disk version of the contents of this CD. A shareware program called DiskDup+ is included in this folder. DiskDup+ is a handy disk copying program that you will use to copy the disk images in this folder onto floppy disks. Once you copy the disk images onto floppy disks, you╒ll have a fully installable version of the contents of this CD. You╒ll need 16 floppy disks to copy the complete contents of the CD. To create a floppy disk version of the Easy Install, you╒ll need 6 disks. The contents of the Easy Install are on the disk images Install Me First through Informed Designer 6.
To create the disk images, follow these instructions:
1. Launch DiskDup+ by double-clicking the DiskDup+ icon.
2. Click the Go on button to dismiss the registration dialog. (DiskDup+ is a shareware program. If you are going to use it please register with its author.)
3. To select the disk image to copy, click the Hard Disk... button. The Open dialog appears.
4. Use the Open dialog to navigate to the Disk Images folder on the CD.
5. Select the Install Me First disk image by double-clicking it. DiskDup+ reads the disk image information into memory and then requests that you insert a floppy disk.
6. Insert a floppy disk into your disk drive. The disk does not have to be formatted. (If a message appears warning that the disk contains valid information, or asking if you want to format the disk, make your selection to proceed.) DiskDup+ copies the disk image information onto the floppy disk and then ejects the disk.
7. Select the next disk image, Informed Designer 2, by repeating steps 3 to 6.
Repeat the process by coping Informed Designer 3, Informed Designer 4, Informed Designer 5, Informed Designer 6, and Informed Extras 1 through 10.
8. When you have finished copying the disk images onto floppy disks, quit DiskDup+ by choosing Quit from the File Menu.
The disks you have created can be used to install Informed Designer on computers that don╒t have access to CD drives.
